Two months

Two months have almost gone by since my last posting. A lot has been going on with me personally, and our beloved Cyclones. I recently accepted a promotion at my job, and therefore had to downgrade my season ticket package. Starting Jan 8 I have to go to school for my new promotion for nearly nine months! The only drawback is I do not get to attend my beloved Cyclones nearly enough.
The Nederlanders are once again showing an inept ability to run and market a hockey team. Attendance is horrendous for a city and region of Cincinnati's size. Instead of embracing the fact we have professional hockey many people rather drag the team through the mud, and wait for what will never be. Although it is not all doom and gloom. The new Cincinnati telephone book has an advertisment for the Cyclones which will be seen by everyone in Cincinnnati. (ideally everyone gets a book) They are advertising on various Pepsi brand cans. This gives me the idea that maybe it is starting to click for the Cyclones front office. Brian McKenna the ECHL commissioner states that he would like to be in a market about a year before a team is launched. The Cyclones have only been "back" for 7 months. I hope Nederlander sticks with it for next season because a lot of people are just now finding out the team has returned. Well I will be at the game on Dec 23 against Wheeling hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
